Bihar NEET UG Counselling 2024: The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) has cancelled the round 1 seat allotment result for the Bihar NEET -UG counselling. The seat allotment result was declared in the month of August. BCECEB will release a revised seat allotment result on September 27. Candidates must note that those who got admissions based on their round-1 seat allotment list stand cancelled. 

The decision to cancel the admission was taken after the Supreme Court ordered the removal of the ‘Tanti-Tatwa’ caste from the scheduled caste (SC) category and put it in the Extremely Backward Classes (EBC) category. Hence, the candidates of this caste were asked to change their category in the registration form. As per the official notice, 30 such candidates applied to change their category after the board released a revised rank list for NEET -UG counselling under the state quota for MBBS and BDS admissions. 

Moreover, the registrations for Bihar NEET -UG round 2, which ended on September 16 will reopen soon.
