JNVST Class 6 Registration 2025 Last Date Extended Again Till October 7; Official Notice by NVS Here

JNVST Class 6th 2025: Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) has further extended the registration deadline for the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test (JNVST) 2024 for class 6th admissions till October 7. Initially, the deadline was September 16 which was extended till September 23. Candidates or guardians can register for JNVST Class 6 online through the official website- navodaya.gov.in. The admissions will be conducted for the 2025-26 session. 

JNVST for class 6th will be held in two phases. Phase 1 will be held on January 18, 2025, and April 12, 2025. The exams will begin at 11.30 am. 

“Online Registration for the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test 2025 for admission to class VI session 2025-26 is in progress. The last date of submission of the online application is further extended upto 07.10.2024 due to administrative reasons. The candidates may apply free of cost by visiting the NVS website - https://navodaya.gov.in/ or https://cbseitms.rcil.gov.in/nvs/. The correction window for making modifications in online application forms by registered candidates in the fields GENDER, CATEGORY (GENERAL/OBC/SC/ST), AREA (RURAL/URBAN), DISABILITY and MEDIUM OF EXAMINATION will remain open for two days after the last date of submission of online applications,” the official notice reads.

How to Apply For JNV Class 6 Admissions 2025

• Go to the official website of Navodaya Vidyalaya at https://cbseitms.rcil.gov.in/nvs/ 
• Under the ‘Candidate Corner’ section, click on the link that reads- Click here for Registration for Class VI JNVST (2025-26)
• Candidates will be redirected to the registration page
• Candidates will have to fill out the application form and pay the application fee
• After completing the process, candidates should click on the submit button
• Candidates should then download their application form and take a printout of the same
• Candidates should keep visiting the official website for more updates.

JNVST Class 6 Eligibility Criteria

Only the bonafide resident candidates from the district concerned where the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya is located and studying class 5th in the same district are eligible to apply for admission. A candidate studying class 5th in a district can only apply for admission to JNV in the same district. Only the bonafide resident candidates from the district concerned where the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya has been located and studying class V in the same district can apply for admission to JNVs through JNVST.
