GATE 2025 Official Brochure OUT By IIT Roorkee: Key Dates and Details Announced

GATE 2025: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee has officially released the detailed brochure for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2025 on its official website, gate2025.iitr.ac.in. The brochure provides comprehensive information on the exam schedule, registration process, application fees, and other important dates.

Key Dates for GATE 2025 Registration

According to the official brochure, the registration process for GATE 2025 will begin on August 24, 2024. Candidates can complete their registration without incurring a late fee until September 26, 2024. For those who miss this deadline, a final registration opportunity is available until October 7, 2024, but with an additional late fee.

GATE 2025 Application Fee

Candidates will need to pay an application fee to finalize their registration. The fee structure is as follows:
- SC/ST/PwD categories and female candidates: ₹900
- All other candidates: ₹1,800

GATE 2025 Exam Schedule

The GATE 2025 examination is scheduled to take place on February 1, 2, 15, and 16, 2025. IIT Roorkee will conduct the exam in two shifts each day:
- Forenoon session: 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM (IST)
- Afternoon session: 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM (IST)

 Admit Card and Exam Day Requirements

The GATE 2025 admit card will be available for download starting January 2, 2025, exclusively on the official website. Candidates will not receive printed copies by mail. To appear for the exam, candidates must carry their original photo ID along with the downloaded admit card. Acceptable IDs include Aadhaar-UID (preferred), Aadhaar Virtual ID, government-issued IDs, passports, PAN cards, voter IDs, or driving licenses.

GATE 2025 Result and Scorecard Dates

The results for GATE 2025 will be announced on March 19, 2025. Following this, candidates can download their scorecards from March 28 to May 31, 2025. Those who wish to access their scorecards after May 31 will be required to pay a fee of ₹500 per test paper, with the option to download available until December 31, 2025.
