CA January 2025 Exam Dates: The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has announced the CA foundation and intermediate exam schedule for the January 2025 session. As per the official schedule, the CA Foundation exam 2025 will be held between January 12 and 18, 2024 and the CA Intermediate exam 2025 will be held between January 11 and 15 for Group 1 and January 17-21 for Group 2.

CA Foundation Exam 2025 Dates: 12th , 14th , 16th & 18th January 2025

CA Intermediate Exam 2025 Dates:

Group -I: 11th , 13th & 15th January 2025 
Group -II: 17th , 19th & 21st January 2025

CA January Exams 2025: Registration Schedule 

• The registration window for the CA January exams 2025 will open on November 10, 2024.
• The last date for submission of online examination application forms (without late fees) is November 23. 
• The last date for submission of online examination application forms (with late fees of ` 600/- or US $ 10) is November 26.
• For students seeking a change of examination city/medium, the correction window for the examination forms already filled will be available during the dates mentioned- November 27 to 29.

Exam Pattern

CA Foundation papers 1 and 2 will be held from 2 pm to 5 pm (3 hours) while papers 3 and 4 will be held for two hours from 2 pm to 4 pm. All papers of the CA intermediate exam will be held from 2 pm to 5 pm.

“In Paper 3 and 4 of the Foundation Examination there will not be any advance reading time, whereas, in all other papers/exams mentioned above, an advance reading time of 15 minutes will be given from 1.45 PM (IST) to 2 PM (IST),” the official notice reads.

Exam Centres

Apart from exam centres in various Indian cities, the CA exam will also be held at eight overseas examination cities, namely: Abu Dhabi, Bahrain, Thimpu (Bhutan), Doha, Dubai, Kathmandu (Nepal), Kuwait and Muscat.

“The Examination commencement timing at Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Muscat Centres will be 12.30 PM i.e., Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Muscat local time corresponding/equivalent to 2 PM. (IST). The Examination commencement timing at Bahrain, Doha, and Kuwait Centre will be 11.30 AM i.e., Bahrain / Doha / Kuwait local time corresponding/equivalent to 2 PM (IST). The Examination commencement Timing at Kathmandu (Nepal) Centre will be 2.15 PM Nepal local time corresponding/equivalent to 2 PM (IST). The Examination commencement timing at Thimpu (Bhutan) Centre will be 2.30 PM Bhutan local time corresponding/equivalent to 2 PM (IST),” the official notice reads. 

Candidates of Foundation and Intermediate Examinations will be allowed to opt for English / Hindi medium for answering papers. Click here for official notification.
