Tere Ishk Mein Box Office: The Dhanush and Kriti Sanon starrer hit the big screens on November 28. The movie received a mixed response from critics and cinegoers upon release. While most appreciated the performances by the lead actors, some criticism came the film's way over its plot for glorifying infidelity. Despite the mixed reviews, the movie has held a phenomenal hold at the ticketing counter on the first Tuesday of release.
On Tuesdays, select cinema chains offer heavy discounts on movie tickets. Prices of tickets begin as low as ₹99. Therefore, this aids in an uptick in almost all releases on Tuesday. The same helped drive the collections of Tere Ishk Mein positively yesterday.
After a phenomenal weekend, amassing a total of ₹52 crore, the movie witnessed an expected dip in collection. Tere Ishk Mein collected ₹8.75 crore on Monday, which was staggering considering it was a working day. The following Tuesday, the movie registered a jump in collection and drove in ₹10.25 crore. The movie's five-day total now stands at ₹71 crore.

Dhanush has featured in three Bollywood movies so far, with only two of them being theatrical releases. The actor's debut Hindi film, Raanjhanaa, was released in 2018 and was also directed by Aanand L. Rai. The film was a box office success and became a cult classic over the years. Raanjhaana, which also featured Sonam Kapoor, amassed a total of ₹ 60.22 Cr in India at the time of its release. Tere Ishk Mein has surpassed that collection in just 5 days. The movie is likely to continue its dream run at the box office until the release of Ranveer Singh's Dhurandhar on December 5.
