Thalapathy Vijay is currently gearing up for the release of his upcoming film, Leo. Said to be an official remake of the 2005 Viggo Mortensen starrer film A History of Violence, the Lokesh Kanagaraj film will add another important title to the Lokesh Cinematic Universe. While the anticipation for the upcoming film remains high ahead of its October 9 release, stills of Vijay and Trisha from the sets of Leo leaked recently. Now, the makers have decided to take action against the leakers.
3 things you need to know
MassBunk Antipiracy, the enterprise that is preventing digital leaks of any Leo-related content, took to X (formerly known as Twitter) to discourage any leaks of Leo. The official page of the film wrote, “Do not post the leaked pics from Leo that are circulated online. The infringing images will be removed immediately without any further warning resulting in the ID suspension.”
Following the release of Leo, Thalapathy Vijay is going to appear in Venkat Prabhu’s next film. Tentatively titled Thalapathy 68, the film is going to feature Vijay in double roles.
Vijay is no alien to films which feature him in dual roles. In his last film with Atlee, namely Bigil (2019), he essayed the role of a young footballer and his gangster father. In Mersal (2017), Vijay went a step further and appeared in a triple role. In the AR Murugadoss film Kaththi (2014), Vijay plays the role of a petty thief Kathiresan as well as his lookalike Jeevanantham who has a deep past.
