Giampaolo Tomassetti bridges classical European art techniques with ancient Indian ethos. Long before gifting A Glimpse of Kashi in Rome to PM Modi, Tomassetti spent 12 years intensely studying the Mahabharata and creating a massive, breathtaking series of paintings dedicated to the epic.
