Khelo India Winter Games 5th Edition Rescheduled: Now Set for March 9-12, 2025

Gulmarg: After being postponed due to insufficient snowfall, the much-awaited 5th edition of the Khelo India Winter Games is now scheduled to take place from March 9 to 12, 2025. The event, originally planned for an earlier date, was delayed as the valley lacked adequate snow cover.

Now, with back-to-back snow spells blanketing the hilly and plain areas of Kashmir Valley, the stage is set for thrilling winter sports action. Athletes from across the country will gather in North Kashmir's Gulmarg to compete in various disciplines, showcasing their skills in the intriguing snow-covered landscapes.

Speaking to Republic TV, Nuzhat Gul, Secretary of the J&K Sports Council, confirmed the new dates, underline that the fresh snowfall has created ideal conditions for the event. She expressed confidence that the games will be a grand success, attracting top athletes and winter sports participant.
