Massive Joint Search Operation Launched in J&K's Ramnagar After Suspected Terrorist Movement

Security forces, including the Indian Army, J&K Police, and CRPF, have launched a massive joint search operation in Udhampur's Ramnagar based on terrorist intel, while the NIA is conducting simultaneous raids across multiple locations in North Kashmir.

Jammu and Kashmir: Security forces have launched a massive joint search operation in the Ramnagar area of Udhampur, Jammu and Kashmir. The operation, based on intelligence inputs about suspected terrorists in the region, involves troops from the Indian Army, Jammu Kashmir Police, and the CRPF.

The action was initiated after Indian Army troops opened fire on suspected movement in the area yesterday evening.

Search operation underway in Ramnagar area of Udhampur

NIA Raids At Valley 

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has also launched raids across multiple locations in North Kashmir. The operations are currently underway in the Bandipora and Bomai areas of Sopore, as well as in the Rafiabad region of North Kashmir. 

Additionally, raids are being conducted on the outskirts of Srinagar, specifically in the HMT Mustafabad area.

Operation Trashi-I 

Earlier, an encounter took place between security forces and a group of holed-up terrorists in the dense forest reaches of Dolgam area of Jammu and Kashmir's Kishtwar district.

Officials confirm that 2-3 terrorists, suspected to be affiliated with the Pakistan-based Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM), have been trapped following a fresh exchange of gunfire.

Meanwhile, 3 army jawans were injured in the encounter, stated reports.

The security forces re-established contact with terrorists in the Dolgam region as part of the ongoing Operation Trashi-I.

This operation, codenamed "Operation Trashi-I", has been active since mid-January.
