Mumbai Metro: First Underground Train To Run On This Date | Check Stations, Route And Ticket Prices

Mumbai: Mumbai residents won't have to worry as much about being delayed in traffic now that the underground metro's preparations are complete. Passengers will be able to travel by it in a few days. As a result, the city will move more quickly because using the underground will make traveling even simpler.

From July 24, passengers will be able to travel the Mumbai Underground Metro 3 route. One of the longest stations in the world and the largest in India would be the Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC) station, according to Suyash Trivedi, executive director of Metro Rail Corporation. At this station, numerous trains will arrive and depart.This station will function similarly to a junction as a result. With the use of specialized technologies, several tunnels have been constructed especially for this station. That two trains can travel through this tunnel at the same time is the most significant factor.

Mumbai Metro: Key Features 

• The "Aqua Line" (Colaba-Bandra-SEEPZ), Mumbai's first underground metro line, is scheduled to open on July 24.
• It will travel from Aarey Colony to Cuffe Parade, a distance of 33.5 kilometers, with 27 stops.
• The subterranean metro rail station is approximately 475 meters long; in contrast, most other metro stations are constructed to be between 200 and 250 meters long.
• Passengers will not need to exit the metro station after arriving because trains from several locations will link at this station.
• The unique feature is that a bullet train station is located one kilometer away from this station.
• A plan to connect the bullet train and BKC station will be developed in the future, according to Mumbai Metro Rail Corporation officials.
• The cost of riding the Mumbai Metro can range from Rs 10 for trips up to 2 km and up to Rs 40 for trips over that distance. Passengers will get entry using their cards and tokens.

The report states that the Aqua Line metro will travel through roughly 27 stations, including Cuffe Parade, Vidhan Sabha, Churchgate, Hutatma Chowk, CST Metro, Kalbadevi, Girgaon, Grant Road, Mumbai Central Metro, Mahalaxmi, Science Museum, Acharya Atre Chowk, Worli, Siddhivinayak, Dadar, Sitaldevi, Dharavi, BKC, Vidyanagari, Santacruz, Domestic Airport, Sahar Road, International Airport, Marol Naka, MIDC, Seepz, and Aarey Depot Metro Station.
