Stephen Curry put up another dazzling performance for the Golden State Warriors as they cruised to a 121-115 victory over the Orlando Magic in their NBA road game. Stephen Curry has cemented himself as the greatest player to have played for the Golden State Warriors and one of the best players in the NBA. The three-point king despite his age continues to dominate the league with his shooting and ball movement. Warriors' game against Orlando Magic was no different as Stephen Curry once again showed why he is one of the greatest of all time.
Stephen Curry put up another legendary performance as the Golden State Warriors took on the Orlando Magic. He scored 56 points in the game which included him scoring 12 three pointers. One of those three pointers was special as Curry scored it from way behind the halfway line, a feat which is difficult even for most NBA players.
Warriors coach Steve Kerr stated that he felt Steph's shot from afar would go in and that he felt it. He also stated that the shot then set the tone for a dominating second half from the Golden State Warriors.
“He’s had so many of those the last couple of years. As soon as he let it go, I said, ‘That’s in, I just felt it, and I thought that set the tone for the second half," said Steve Kerr.
The match against Orlando Magic was Steph Curry's 1000th regular season start for the Golden State Warriors. In the win against the Magic, Steph Curry also overtook legendary basketballer Patrick Ewing on the NBA all-time scoring list. This was also Stephen Curry's 14th game with 50 or more points.
“A lot of guys contributed to the win, but it’s nice to have a flurry like that and have fun with it,” said Steph Curry after the win against Magic.
