In the second half, Arsenal continued to threaten and press to seal the win. However, Wolves did threaten for a period of the game and their attempt was thwarted off by Arsenal goalie David Raya.
But Arsenal continued to keep the pressure and got rewarded as Bukayo Saka put the result beyond any doubt. This time it was Kai Haverts with the assist as he found Saka on the edge of the box and Saka took on the Wolves defence as he stormed inside the box and smashed a sensational shot in the near post to take the score to 2-0 and seal all three points for Arsenal in their opening fixture.
