Former Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan is reportedly alive but facing mental torment in prison, according to his sister, Dr Uzma Khanum. She met him for 20 minutes and said he is confined to his cell for most of the day, allowed only limited time outside, and barred from communicating with anyone.
Imran Khan allegedly held Pakistan Army chief General Asim Munir responsible for his detention. The meeting occurred amid health-related concerns and after protests by his supporters in Rawalpindi and Islamabad, which led the government to impose restrictions on large gatherings.
