Delhi Red Fort Blast A 'Terror Incident', India Confirms Action Against Terrorism

India has officially declared the Delhi Red Fort blast a terror attack, vowing swift and decisive justice for the victims of the deadly explosion that claimed nine lives. Prime Minister Narendra Modi assured that those behind the act would not be spared, while the Union Cabinet confirmed terror links and ordered an immediate investigation. The attack, connected to Umar Nabi from Kashmir, was reportedly part of a larger plot to target Ayodhya and Prayagraj, which was disrupted after Nabi panicked amid tightening probes.

As India signals a strong response, tensions with Pakistan have escalated following baseless allegations from Islamabad, including claims that India was behind a suicide blast outside Pakistan’s Sessions Court. Despite Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) admitting responsibility, Defence Minister Khawaja Asif and Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi accused India of state-sponsored terrorism. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s tweet blaming India for attacks launched from Afghan soil prompted a firm rebuttal from New Delhi. With Operation Sindoor reportedly on standby, India’s next move is being closely watched as calls for retaliation grow louder.
