Sanchar Sathi App Row: Rijiju Silences Priyanka Gandhi

On Day 2 of the Winter Session, INDI bloc MPs conducted a vigorous demonstration outside Parliament's Makar Dwar, calling for a discussion on the Sanchar Sathi cybersecurity software and the Special Intensive Revision of electoral registers. Priyanka Gandhi and Mallikarjun Kharge accused the Centre of exploiting SIR and creating privacy issues over a mandatory fraud-reporting app pre-installed on smartphones. Kiren Rijiju struck back, denying the claims and labeling Priyanka’s words as reckless.
