Indian Air Force's 31 squadron 'Lions' marks diamond jubilee in style
Air Marshal SP Dharkar, Chief of the Eastern Air Command, and Commodore Commandant of the 31 Sqn, were in attendance as the chief guests of the event.

The event featured a show by the IAF’s Akash Ganga skydiving team unfurling the ensign of the Squadron.

Following the Skydive, was a ‘thrilling’ low-level aerobatics aerial display by fighter aircraft and helicopters.

As a tribute to the event, the tailwings of the squadron's Su30MKI were painted with the lion ensign.

A seminar, cultural event, and community lunch were also held, reminiscing the rich history of the squadron.
